There's not much to say except enjoy the seasonally #mild conditions with some #sunshine at times and a light #breeze.

The radar is picking up some possible sprinkles just to the west of the region, but most of it is not hitting the ground. Thursday will see some clouds at times with a light northwest breeze. Highs will be closer to seasonal in the upper 50s and 60s.

Most of northeast Minnesota is seeing sunshine with no clouds, with cloud cover exiting northwest Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula.  There is no precipitation being detected as well.Temperatures in the Northland just after 1:30 p.m. on October 1, 2026, range from 55 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit.Wind speeds in the Northland just after 1:30 p.m. on October 1, 2026, range from 7 to 18 mph.  Wind direction is primarily from the northwest and north.  Wind gusts have been reported in the 15 to 25 mph range.Growing season alerts cover nearly all of the Northland between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2026 (Central Daylight Time).  A Freeze Warning covers Koochiching and northern and central St. Louis counties, where temperatures could be as cold as 30-degrees Fahrenheit, possibly ending the growing season in these areas. The current line of steady rainfall extends from the Arrowhead south through the Twin Ports and the I-35 Corridor regions.
