The #AotearoaMicronauts in introductory microbiology here at the University of Canterbury in Ōtautahi Christchurch NZ are top notch. I have so enjoyed working with them, and remain grateful. Yes, I miss teaching!

I hope to find other ways to promote #MicrobialEnthusiasm and #MicrobialCentrism.

Last night at the faculty club at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch NZ, I had a shandy, and got to hold a deep sea manganese nodule in my hand. I thought of @pgirguis.bsky.social and microbial respiration. #MicrobialCentrism.
