In The Rock 10/6/1972: David Bowie heads to RCA studio in NYC to record “Jean Genie” with Mick Ronson on lead guitar, Trevor Bolder on Bass and Mick “Woody” Woodmansey on drums and tambourine. Ronson came up with the riff on the bus, probably around Cincinnati, OH. #Bowie #MickRonson #RockHonorRoll
