Amateur pianist corner: revisiting #Messiaen Vingt regards nos 1 and 19 (my favourite) after about 2 years away from them. I want to learn no 4 and need to remind myself how these pieces feel under the fingers...

Interestingly, #Messiaen wrote the piece when he was inspired by a visit to #BryceCanyon and #CedarBreaks National Parks, so this is also a tribute to #Utah specifically, although one movement is entirely made of birdsong imitations centered around #Hawaii.
