The 2nd most popular webcomic platform is shutting down due to the parent company not promoting it enough and labeling it a massive tax write off when they first acquired the company. The former CEO said when he handed it over, it was profitable. Once it was acquired, things took a downturn and the people who made the company money or made comics and novels for fun felt the backlash of the parent company's decision.
