Paid tutorial: derive spin factors and Gaussian overlap integrals, then test widths and numerical sensitivity. These exercises accompany Pathak’s meson model; they do not reproduce its reported values.

Concept illustration of two transparent panels with overlapping blue and gold clouds and luminous marks below. Represents comparing spatial overlap; not experimental spectra or a numerical reproduction of the paper.

Pathak’s Cornell model estimates D/B hyperfine splitting with a finite-width spin interaction. Separate spin and spatial overlap, then examine missing 2S details and figure/table inconsistencies that limit reproducibility.

Why can the same quark pair have different masses? Pathak’s Cornell model links spin and short-range overlap to D/B meson splitting. Reported 1S agreement does not validate 2S predictions.

Concept illustration of blue and gold points linked by light, beside two separated lines. Suggests meson mass differences; not an image of particles or measured energy levels.
