Me reading through the lawsuits to fit them into the methods table with notes on the side that need to be analytically analyzed while also wondering what level of unhinged does a person have to reach to justify behaving this way. #Howisthislife #Medienforschung

Me when I am listening to my dissertation supervisor over email making an argument or lack thereof about why my analysis/perspective is seemingly harsh and/or biased. #IAmGettingAHeadache #Medienforschung

Aus der aktuellen #Medienforschung.

"When nonpartisan users encounter unsolicited political content, it is more likely to feature videos mentioning and supporting the far-right populist Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party relative to all other parties."

Auszug aus der Studie. Volltext: "Overall exposure to political content among our nonpartisan users in our sample was 5%–7%. In an average one-hour session, users may see 400 videos and potentially come across 35 political videos without ever engaging with political content beforehand.
We observed a right/conservative advantage in exposure that is larger for party mentions than for content supporting specific parties. This suggests that other actors (neutral commentators, critics, etc.) push exposure to the AfD by mentioning the party more often relative to other parties. However, the advantage still holds for pro-AfD content, which has a three to four times higher likelihood of entering the feeds of nonpolitical users in our sample. We also showed that exposure to the AfD occurs much quicker relative to all other parties."

Since the Baldoni-Lively case has now closed, I have no doubt that Blake Lively has a dead man's switch to get Justin Baldoni back. #QualitativeResearch #Semantics #Medienforschung
