Very excited to have the opportunity to think about #TitusAndronicus as a precursor to/trial run/source of #MeasureForMeasure for this event.

So many crossovers: in/justice, consent, rape, forced marriage, revenge, mercy, piety, pleading, beheading, substitutions ... and silence.

Shakespeare's #MeasureforMeasure is very much a play of our time. Do join us in Weimar for this conference and please feel free to share this announcement and the programme with students, friends, colleagues. Anyone interested in #Shakespeare is most welcome to attend! tinyurl.com/2p9n48an
