Amy Sayer is a good player but the problem with her #Matildas appearances so far is she’s either been one of the best performers on the pitch or hardly had an impact on the game.

She needs to have some games where she makes a solid contribution if she can’t be one of the best on ground.

Full-time: Germany wins.
My Player of the Match:
Ellie Carpenter for Australia.
(She always gives 100%.)
Melissa Kössler for Germany.
🇩🇪4-2🇦🇺 #GERvAUS #Matildas ⚽️

Germany 4 - 2 Matildas. A lot of areas for the Matildas to improve on.

The #Matildas are missing KC-C passing and range and quality this match.

I’d bring on Alana Murphy

Half-time: Germany leads 2-1.
🇩🇪2-1🇦🇺 #GERvAUS #Matildas ⚽️

2 - 1 to Germany at halftime. A deserved lead for the Germans.

But if Ellie can keep setting up Sam there is hope

Huge congrats to Melissa Kössler, scoring 2 goals for Germany against Australia in the first half of today's game. #GERvAUS 2-0. ⚽️ #Matildas
