Marxist Social Work (1): System & Contradiction

How do social problems arise under capitalism, and what role does social work play in this?

Together, we will read key excerpts (including Hollstein/Meinhold) and discuss them.

No prior knowledge is required; the texts will be available as PDFs and in print.

The two sessions of the reading group can be attended independently of one another.
