The ideological level of "leftists" in the United States is appalling. i am not saying that i know everything there is to know about communism, far from it, but it is extremely disappointing to witness the abject level of political illiteracy running rampant in our spaces. We wonder why the spontaneous movement is stalling out so completely? It's because the conscious element, that is supposed to give continuity to and unite the spontaneous movement into a broader whole, that is supposed to give context to and orient the movement in the world and in history, that's supposed to analyze and study the movement and it's development scientifically, to lead and to guide the exploited and oppressed into battle against the enemy, has been absolutely dropping the ball for decades. If we are going to see a way out of the world imploding events that our species is headed for, and we want to be able to say that the people here took an honorable place in the battle lines in the coming crisis, we need to educate ourselves. Below is attached a list of basic Marxist-Leninist texts to acquaint yourselves with. i was going to include anarchist texts that i have read and recommend as well, as you should acquaint yourselves with those as well, but i am not an anarchist, so i will leave that to the anarchists, as i am sure they would have a much better list of recommendations than i can provide as a Marxist-Leninist. This is not an insult, and i don't mean to imply that we are hopeless, far from it. The people in our country need our help, and we as radicals have the ability the drive to transform ourselves into excellent communists. i will hear no doomerist nonsense to the contrary. It is time that we rise to the occasion and we provide for the people our lives and our abilities so that the rising masses can destroy fascism and liberate humanity. Never lose heart, Comrades!
