Float artist Jonathan Bertuccelli has released this image of the nearly completed rebuild of the iconic Boeuf Gras for the Rex Parade!
#OurCarnivalHeritage #MardiGras2027

Image of a float den containing the partially covered new Boeuf Gras float piece for the 2027 Rex Parade in New Orleans. The head and neck are base coated white, while the rest of the body is unpainted. The float piece is surrounded by float props from past parades, and two ladders, one red at the front of the Boeuf Gras, the other ladder at the back in blue. The walls of the den are painted black, and there are large industrial lights and a metal grid above, suspended from the ceiling.
