There was such a happy joyful vibe coming home from the #MarchforNature on the beautiful CRL trains. We were strong and unbroken by the 3 years of the War on Nature. And our new public transport system was a clean and shiny achievement of years of progressive campaigning.

You don’t have to be an activist, you just need to CARE about other living beings. I mean, I thought that was just normal…til it very clearly isn’t 💚🕊️

There’ll also be a team from Together for the Vote - if you haven't enrolled to vote yet, this is your chance to do it in person.

Part of how we build pressure to stop the Conservation Amendment Bill is by showing we are here! So on the day take a photo and post it to your socials #MarchForNature!

A letter signed by seven former conservation ministers of different political parties is highlighting "the strong, cross-party support for conservation over successive governments, which these changes to the Conservation Act would overturn".

“When governments weaken environmental protections, override Māori rights and shut communities out of decision-making, they attack both nature and democracy. We march because Papatūānuku is not property to be exploited without limit. She is an ancestor and a living system with her own mana and mauri. Protecting her requires constitutional change founded on Te Tiriti, tikanga Māori, human rights and genuine democratic accountability.”
