4th placed #Flixton & #AshtonTown are at home

So too are #Uppermill, who have a brilliant opportunity for their 1st win v 2nd bottom Blackpool

#MaineRoad & #CheadleHeathNomads are both away

In tonight's @nwcfl.bsky.social Edward Case Cup action, it was defeat for both our sides unfortunately

#MaineRoad lost 4-1 to Holker in a game that was level at 80 mins, while #CheadleHeathNomads lost 2-1 to Wolverhampton Casuals, who scored their winner deep into injury time

It's the @nwcfl.bsky.social Edward Case Cup 1st Round this week, & there are 2 games tonight to start us off

#MaineRoad host Holker Old Boys in the North Section, & #CheadleHeathNomads host Wolverhampton Casuals in the South

The same applies for a few teams in the tight North table, where #AshtonTown, #Flixton, & #MaineRoad are at home, & #DaisyHill, #AshtonAthletic, & #Uppermill are away

In the MLP, #WythenshaweTown are beaten, but #StockportGeorgians run out 6-1 winners v Stone Old Alleynians in the ML Cup

#AshtonAthletic beat #MaineRoad in the GM Derby at Step 6

And finally, in NWC Div 1 North, #AshtonAthletic host #MaineRoad in a GM Derby

And as I've come to this post, the NWC website isn't playing ball, so can't check form or league position for these 2

John Beck’s men won the away leg at #MaineRoad the following week, too
