#Molana_Abdolhamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of #Zahedan, referred on Sep. 18 to the anniversary of #Mahsa_Amini ’s death, describing the protests that followed as a “popular uprising.” these protests should be considered alongside the Nov. 2019 protests and the protests of Jan. 2026.

Four years have passed since the day the executioners of Zahhak took the life of Iran’s daughter, #Mahsa_Amini.
The #Islamic_Republic_regime believed it could trample Mahsa’s blood underfoot, as it had done with the blood of so many others, but an entire #Iran rose up for her.

It urged the UN General Assembly to establish an international criminal justice mechanism for Iran and called on the UN Security Council to refer the situation in Iran to the International Criminal Court.
