Is it just me, or do other Macross-pilled folks get a feeling of low-level dread whenever a new AI-authored music video pops up?

Those who forget Sharon Apple are doomed to instantiate Sharon Apple.

Yeeeeeeah...just went from #MacrossPlus The Movie right into the first episode of #Macross7!
#Macross

So I'm rewatching #MacrossPlus in Japanese and it's so funny that in both this version and the English one you have folks from #CowboyBebop in both versions! Both Jet's English and Japanese actors are here playing two different characters!

The fact that Richard Epcar was in 2 of the animes I watched tonight is EPIC!

I also find it ironic how THIS show I'm following #MacrossPlus as that show illustrated the dangers of AI while this show is about government cover ups and throwing people under the bus during an election year.

It seemed fitting to precede tonight’s #GhostInTheShell SAC TV series finale with #MacrossPlus as I’m just laying here vibing with Yoko Kanno’s music in the menu!

So @digiranma.bsky.social watching #MacrossPlus and...wow, has this aged accurately.
