A little early. If we have Becka we should have Mistletoe! This incarnation is vastly different from before. This Misty is open minded, kind & optimistic, serving as the heart of the trio, with Becka and tomorrow’s entry…

And now we have Becka!
Becka is…
…yeah…
Becka is Becka.

With my old comic, Shadowgirls, for those that remember, one of the big dangers in there was Lovecraftian deep ones.
With the reimagining here, I removed the Lovecraft backstory and doubled down on the Irish/Celtic myths.

“She’s a Venom ripoff.”
“Charheart sounds like a Pokémon.”
“Haunted ink is stupid.”
Charheart is an example of where I wished I had listened to myself back then as opposed to some friends, who were kinda… Toxic assholes.

Mistress Oblivion is my sorta tribute to David Cronenberg’s movie Videodrome. Back in the day it was more Borg Queen, so I’ve updated her to be a bit more practical effect body horror.
Costume is still silly, I know.

Zero McCallister is your basic himbo. He’s got a good heart and tries to negotiate with enemies when his sister just wants to pummel them… Even his guns are stun blasters.
He’s a kind man who keeps Max from going too far.

Max Pneumatic was my default go-to OC for a long time. I did so many damn stories with her. Most are now gone and I never had the means to scan them.
But she was my first full on action hero and I still love her.

Oh shit, it’s Charon McKay!
Those who remember my old comic Shadowgirls will remember her. In these early days, she was a very different character. But it’s a new universe now… And some stuff is gonna be different.

1998 brings us Marica’s enemy, the egotistical Warmonger, Duke Xavis Kovanous XXIII. He’s our big antagonist from those days.
Tomorrow brings in the end of the 20th century with, to some people, will be a familiar face…

Next up we have our street fighting cat girl, Jinx. (I know, it’s not the most original name, but hey, it was 1997!)
Like I said, i don’t know if I will be able to pull off all 31 of these, but I’m gonna try.

Abyss is actually an amalgam of several characters from around that time. It was the mid-90s annnnd… I made a superhero. (As one did then!)
Did he look like this back then? No. This is just older perv me sexing him up a lot.

To clarify, this isn’t just revisiting old friends. This is a reimagining of them and how they’d work in the current universe that I’m calling the Machverse.
First up is Marica Kitamer, who’s been around… Well, before 1995!
