I've finally finished this hat for my aunt.
Removable snap pom for washing, dual layer in some pattern I made up. Yarn is Cascade superwash merino/silk in Italian Plum.

Something exciting (the good kind!) has happened: I have got a vintage knitting machine! A brother KH-830, to be precise. I’ve been obsessing over it all weekend, and even managed to make something small and wearable.
