🚨 #Mendocino/LakeCounties, CA. and NV., a very large area is now either being evacuated, or on alert, due to the #LucasFire.

In 2018, Mendo/Lake experienced the Mendo Complex Fire, at that time, historically one of the worst. It looks like that same area, near Potter Valley, is the epicenter.

✈️ When the #LucasFire broke out near the county line between Mendocino and Lake, CAL FIRE moved quickly and brought significant resources to the fight.

As of now, the fire is 1,099 acres and 5% contained.
