A searchable PDF is underrated.
The page can still look like the original scan, but the text becomes searchable and selectable.
That's pretty useful when you have old scanned documents and don't want to manually rebuild every page.

I noticed LoveOCR has some formats I wouldn't immediately associate with OCR:
LaTeX
Mermaid
vCard
iCal
EPUB
SVG
SQL
YAML
It makes OCR feel less like “copy text from an image” and more like “turn visual information into something usable.”

Handwritten notes are probably one of the most interesting OCR use cases.
Take a photo → recognize the handwriting → review it → keep an editable copy.
Obviously, I'd still check names and numbers manually.

OCR quality isn't only about the software.
A blurry photo + glare + weird angle is a pretty unfair test for any OCR system 😂
Clear image
Good lighting
Straight page
Less background
Small things, but they help.

One thing I like about OCR tools:
You don't always need the same output.
A scanned letter might need Word.
A document archive might need searchable PDF.
A table might need Excel.
Structured information might need JSON or CSV.
The destination matters.

A screenshot of a table is basically data trapped inside pixels.
If I need to actually sort it, calculate with it, or edit individual cells, Excel makes much more sense than plain text.
That's why image-to-Excel OCR is such a practical workflow.

OCR isn't magic.
Blur, glare, strange fonts, perspective, handwriting and complicated tables can all affect the result.
The useful approach is:
Convert → review → correct → use.
That's a much better workflow than blindly trusting any automated conversion.

A photographed flowchart shouldn't have to stay trapped as a picture.
LoveOCR includes a flowchart-to-Mermaid workflow, which can turn visual structure into diagram code you can edit.
Pretty useful for documentation.

I was looking through LoveOCR's tool directory and realized it goes way beyond Image → Text.
There are workflows for:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
PDF
JSON
SQL
Markdown
LaTeX
Mermaid
Graphviz
EPUB
vCard
GeoJSON
…and more.

Small OCR tip:
The original image matters.
Clear scan + good lighting + straight page + less glare = much easier recognition.
No OCR system can magically recover details that aren't actually visible in the image.
