Love the wonderful new @batswborders.bsky.social book I bought at #NatBatConf today! Co-created with primary school children in Zambia it’s a wonderful story with an important message to share #LoveBats

I was in the Devon village of Ringmore lat night, just after sunset. No street lamps and there were bats flying above our heads.
Wonderful and magical, wish I lived somewhere like that.

Basking on the warm floor of his temporary home, the little long eared bat has increased his weight to over 8g this morning. That's a 65% increase in less than four days. Don't they know how to grab that second chance? Even I am surprised. 😅 Release tomorrow night.
