Apparently, Whit Bissell (Stanley Briggs in “Lost Continent”) did not like the film b/c due to the low budget the sets and costumes & props were pretty cheesy BUT he did have an overall positive experience with the rest of the cast.

The indigenous lady is played by B-Movie queen Acquanetta AKA "The Venezuelan Volcano”. Very little is known about her b/c of myths both she & her management spun during the height of her career related to her ethnicity, name, age, etc
