Aside from forever waltzing into everyone's household, especially the Xie's, like he's king of the place & with his own private army whether Lord Yan or Shen (shades of #LLTG Ling Buyi) I love that our ML comes with an infinite supply of imperial decrees up his sleeve. #SpringoftheBlade

YES! 👆 This. WHY do they rob us of weddings & babies? (Cries the feminist lol.)All of us & the lovely emperor in #LLTG still complaining. Mind you #WhoRulestheWorld did a great wedding & even showed us a child. But most don't. 💔

Ah yes, the birds... they're one of the sketches I drew for this substack on sexual innuendo in #Cdramas. And another reason I dropped it. Preferred Leo Wu in #LLTG (Whink #WhoRulesTheWorld might have been my first cdrama--Zhao Lusi, always great.)

Many consider it one of the best historical Cdramas. The opening theme song alone is golden. The two birds kissing is a hoot as #LeoWu had in his contract no physical contact (20 yrs old). I think his first kisses were with #ZhaoLusi in #LLTG. I still rewatch it. Great production values, acting etc
