I love this flower and yet like so many beautiful flowers, its common name is lame. Prairie Gentian it is called. But it seems more rose like than anything. Its soft pink petals start out in the center and spiral outward turning white and turn as the flower blooms. Its ruffled edges is a hallmark of it. "I cry a lot because I miss people. A few prairie gentain flowers huddle together enjoying the summer rain that they desperately needed. Pink and swirled up like the rose buds they are often mistaken for. Restore My Broken Soul Poem by Jessica Vera Sometimes I think of the unforgettable past that aches within my soul and wonder how one day I could let it all go. I try to replace the memories with stories untold but its hard when I feel the pain of my broken soul. I try to stay strong and walk the line to forget the pain and grief of that time, but yet again I hit rewind and have those flashbacks on my mind. I just want to know how I can let it go. I don't want to remember that no more. Is there any way I can be bold, move on, and restore my broken soul? Or do I have to die with all this on my mind and soul?
