South Ness, Shetland Islands.

The RMS Oceanic, once the largest ship in the world, ran aground on the Shaalds of Foula in 1914. This wreck occurred near South Ness, where a 20th-century lighthouse now stands.

Paull Lighthouse.

Fort Paull, just up the coast, was built in 1861 as a Palmerston Fort. It originally held nineteen 64-pounder guns. The site was disarmed in 1914 because it sat too close to Hull.
