Quite a bit has happened since I last posted. I got angel bites, redid a few character designs, and now I got Halloween art and some other shit stockpiled. Let’s see if I can remember to post in a timely manner lol #art #cartoonartstyle #lifeupdate

This comic is called “New Day, New Appearances”. It’s a four panel comic with my cartoony design walking down a city street; wondering what they should do for dinner. As she walks she sneezes; causing a massive pink mushroom cloud to form. Once it passes Cartoony me stands there surprised having gained my new piercings, regaining the worm tail found on my first ever sheet, an orange bracelet with stars I actually have/got from Spencers, and a pink collar that’s barely visible cause of my fat neck lol. He’s also wearing a black shirt I own in person too that says “God forbid a girl crashes out” in pink lettering.

One last set of features that returned are healed self harm scars on my wrists. I haven’t ever actually self harmed but I’ve thought about it before and I’ve wanted to reintroduce them as a symbol of my mental health journey over the years.

This is a before and after drawing done in alcoholic markers in a Canson Pen and Ink book. It shows cartoony versions of me and two of my friends; Fayth ( with pink hair) and V ( with near black hair). In the top section it shows the base designs used in my character sheets ( that as of now I may have not posted I can’t check as I write this). My cartoony self waves from the leftmost side of the page while Fayth looks unamused and V chats about something we can’t actually hear/ read.

In the second lower half I tried drawing our heads more in line with some realism sketches I made. This really helped give more variety to each of our head shapes while still showing how we look similar to one another. In shifting head shapes V talks about their nose shape shifting and Fayth is snapped out of their inner thoughts.

Similarly to the last drawing this is of the three main boys within the friend group; my BF Cajmere, V’s BF Max, and my adopted brother Josh. Yet again I wanted to take the time to redraw everyone with a few more accurate details from the realism sketches I made. The upper half is pretty much the same; with Max and Caj talking to one another while Josh zoned out on the far right. After the change however Max and Caj are looking over their features on a mirror while Josh contemplates beating cartoony me up since his hair style is entirely different and (while not shown here) he also has a lazy eye on the left side ( fun fact: Caj also has a lazy eye but it’s on his right. They’re two halves of a whole droopy eyed person lol)

Last post for the night. My mom and I are moving again- hopefully for the last time while I'm in the US. So every other saturday I'll be taking off to move and box stuff up. So Saturday streams with Vulcan after this week will be fun going forward.
