With Sabally out for us, and Gray out for the Dream, we ended up playing two incredibly close games against each other. But Atlanta was just a little bit better than our guys in both. 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

It “feels” like Howard has committed 8 fouls already tonight…. 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

Holy cow, that was a crazy play (Canada to Howard)! 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

I have a lot of respect for the Dream. They are a tough matchup, and they play really hard. 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

What a block by Stewie!!! Canada finally stopped AND STUFFED. 💪🏽 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

Jordin Canada looks like she’s running layup drills against mannequins out there. That’s what a blur she’s been driving the paint. 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

Liberty’s first lead since the beginning of the game! Stewie and JJ looking fired up. Barclays is roaring! 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

“At 60, [Clara Wu Tsai] finds herself at a moment of creative transition, aspiring to leave a broad cultural imprint on Brooklyn that would extend beyond her basketball empire….” 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️ #NewYorkLiberty #LibertySky #WNBASky #WNBA #LightItUpNYL #ClaraWuTsai #WNBAOwners #Brooklyn #philanthropy #NYC

Marine was nothing short of a revelation in Atlanta tonight. Vive la France! 🇫🇷 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️ #NewYorkLiberty #LibertySky #WNBASky #WNBA #LightItUpNYL #MarineFauthoux #ViveLaFrance

The Liberty weren’t able to do everything they needed to tonight and ended up falling just short, losing by one score in overtime to Atlanta.

A hard loss.

To take this series now and advance, New York will be required to make history and win three games in a row from down 0-2 🙏🏽 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️ #LibertySky

Come on, Libs! Hang in there. You GOT this! 🙏🏽 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️ #NewYorkLiberty #LibertySky #WNBASky #WNBA #LightItUpNYL

I was quite worried about this series. The Dream are a tough matchup for us. The last game we played against the Dream in Barclays in the regular season was sobering. Winning this will be extremely difficult for the Liberty, especially now after losing game one. 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️ #NewYorkLiberty #LibertySky

So my enemies this coming week are the Dream and the Guardians…. 😠 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️ 🧦 ⚾️ ⚫️⚪️

As I said in a reply elsewhere on here, it’s WILD to imagine a healthy Satou Sabally on this roster right now as well….

Truly sad for Satou, as well as for us fans, that she can’t be a part of this attempted playoff run. 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️

“All season, the New York Liberty talked about the type of team they could be.

Explosive offensively.

Connected on defense.

A well-oiled machine....

This week, a new season started -- the postseason -- and that brought with it a new Liberty team….” 🗽 🏀 ⛹🏽‍♀️
