@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialVincent Blanchard breaks a CFL record with 9 FGs and yet the #LetsGoElks almost piss the game away. One additional TD and they win without OT. Kilham and his coaches need to get their shit together before their last 3 games.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialO'Leary-Orange needs to sit on the bench. 2 wide open missed catches have been critical misses on both #LetsGoElks
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social#LetsGoElks are only in this game because of Blanchard who is 7/7 for field goals tonight. Overtime we go. Maybe the #Elks should try scoring a TD but another FG and a victory would be ok.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social#LetsGoElks 🤦♂️🤮
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThe #LetsGoElks are doing everything they can to piss this game away.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialHoly crap. The #LetsGoElks actually know how to score a TD. Who knew? After the last 7 quarters I thought they had psyched themselves out.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social5 freaking field goals for the #LetsGoElks in the first half. That's it. It's the reason they lost last week. They just can't score TDs. Good thing they are playing the Ticats. They need to figure their offense back out and soon. At least they are leading 15-10
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThe only part of the offense that is again working for the #LetsGoElks is Vincent Blanchard. 4/4 again today. The rest of the offense keeps shooting itself in the for with bad plays or penalties.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social#LetsGoElks offense also picking up where they left off last week. Move the ball down the field then stick and kick fieldgoals
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social#LetsGoElks defense picking up where they left off last week... Sucking
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialAnd with 19 seconds to go and the #LetsGoElks in the red zone and Fajardo throws an interception. After a great game last week, the #Elks sucked all the good out of that game with the way they played today. A very winnable game they flat out gave away.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThe #LetsGoElks defense give the team one more chance to win with 1:31 to go
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThe #LetsGoElks with a chance with under 3 minutes to play and the offensive line decides to take some time off. Absolutely brutal protection when it's needed.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialWashington has done a great job of returning kicks today for the #LetsGoElks.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThe #LetsGoElks offense had also had some issues today. They move the ball then either big themselves down of give it away. 3 times in the red zone they've had to kick field goals and another time they threw an interception.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social2nd at three from the Argo's 4 yard line and you try a pass to the back of the endzone? What a stupid play call. Fajardo throws a interception and the #LetsGoElks still trail by 8 instead of one or tied at the end of the third quarter. Too many mistakes this game
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThen the #LetsGoElks promptly give up a fumble on a high snap that goes for a TD Argos. Someone check the #Elks centers betting apps. That was a brutal snap.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialThe #LetsGoElks are lucky that Kelly has a propensity to throw interceptions as well as TDs. The #Elks have 2 picks today and the last one was in the end zone
@eclecticblogs.bsky.socialWhat the hell is the #LetsGoElks defensive backs doing today? They have been torched for numerous long pass today. At least 5 that I can remember. All 48 yards out more.
@eclecticblogs.bsky.social#LetsGoElks almost get to Kelly but force him to scramble. The defensive backs go to sleep and the Argos get a TD to take back the lead. Brutal defending all around there. Kelly should have been caught.
