💥 #OTD in #History 12 September 1933, physicist #LeoSzilard was waiting on a red light where Southampton Row passes Russell Square in Bloomsbury, London. At that moment, Szilard famously conceived the idea of nuclear chain reaction on the spot. He received the patent for it in 1936.
