🔥 #LegendForgedInIce ❄️ is with beta readers, and my “writing time” has been invaded by summaries, loglines and whatevernot.

Doing some flash fiction, too, so I don’t go mad. Forgot how satisfying these little tales can be.

🔥#LegendForgedInIce ❄️ Inspired by the Boreal tree. I found myself saying how much I love line work, that color is purely secondary. I think I finally realized why I designed the Tundra to be completely devoid of color. Carvings in the Tundra use light and shadow to paint intricate pictures.

Lots of sketching lately. I’ve always enjoyed writing in a false script. Now I get to pretend it’s yeti.

Pen and ink doodle with yeti script translated to: “To the wind the Tundra takes. Through the ground she gives back. Such is the promise.”

An odd thing, indeed. Thunlam is a tricky one, a twin himself, but he'll only tell you so if it suits him. At least he's predictably greedy.

From #LegendForgedInIce, just one week away from beta reading (so excited, so excited, so excited!) #yafantasy #amwriting #wipsnips

“Twins you say? Oh dear, it must be double the reward then, I’m sure.” Thunlam’s voice was as oily as it was probing. Ruby tensed. He was going to turn them in for coin. “Naturally,” the general said, “the privilege of serving his highness is reward in itself. Doubly so in this case, as you’ve noted.” She relaxed. With a greedy one like Thunlam, no reward meant they still had a chance. Thunlam sighed. “Naturally, one lives to serve his highness, but I’m afraid I’ve not seen twins. Surely that I would recall. Such an odd thing.”

Enjoyed a morning offline scribbling over an old sketch. This, friends, is our beloved Kewa. Yeti who took in Ruby and raised her as a sister.
