The lane (holloway?) down to Ballynoe Stone Circle. Then the circle, the votive/petitioning hawthorn and the Rays!

Circle is over 33m in diameter and some of the stones are 2m high. There is a central mound.

Holy well and bullaun stone. St John's Church. Local folklore often attaches religious or magical significance to bullaun stones, and the rainwater collected.

St John's Church (10th or 11th C), marks the site of an early establishment associated with Eoan (John) son of Cairland, and in medieval times it was a chapel. An example of a small, pre-Romanesque church
