Like many others in Canada and in expensive Provinces we are one Layoff, one denial of disability of LTD away from losing that privilege and status. This is NOT the same as the worries of a .01 percent class.

Unfortunately for me, my career was altered by illness and we found like many others, Disability doesn’t care about demographics. I’m disabled, no longer can work as a nurse. I am so thankful for my partners “secure” engineering job. But we are not the same as as billionaire class.

It took a long time for our family to get to a point to be considered in the top demographic of “working class” as an engineer and nurse. We are extremely privileged to have had the careers and opportunities we got.

When people throw around the term 1 %’s, I always question if they actually check the ranges of incomes included for a population? How high is the cost of living? Does the highest income match and is in line with inflation? Just say Billionaires. .01%

A memory Capsule to combat aphantasia. My mind is black. I need pictures for my memories. Otherwise my memories are Black like the night accept the night is actually much brighter and much more alive with shapes and patterns for imaginations to run wild with.
