Irrespective of who actually won this game, possibly the worst officiating ever. Too many bad calls and missed obvious calls.

Were in not for the #VAR , it might have been worse.

The team needs to clean up their middle third passing and bail out their centerbacks better against streaking transition attacks. #LAvDEN

Lindsey Heaps finally broke the dam with a heads up play to run through Yazmeen Ryan’s cross bar shot and tap in the rebound like an nba center. First of many to come. #LAVDEN

yuzuki Yamamoto has been a revelation--scoring her third goal in as many matches with an assist to ice the cake. that puts her 3G,2A on the season. #LAvDEN

That attack Denver had been missing all those weeks ago has been officially found. Denver added 3 goals tonight to make it a run of 12 total scores over three matches. Angel City’s 3 goals themselves puts Denver at a 12:4 ratio across the last three as well. with seven points to show for it. #LAvDEN

71' YELLOW CARD 🟨 LINDSEY HEAPS

Lindsey slides in late and cynically on Sarah Gordon after Gordon had just won the ball off her. #LAvDEN

65' BIG SAVE ABBY SMITH

Sveindis Jónsdóttir with a great strike to the far post sees Abby stretch to save. #LAvDEN

63' The LA goal attack started via an ill-advised pass from MK to Delanie. Delanie was falling backwards with Borges in her back pocket. Borges picked off and went route one to Sveindis. When Ayo and Janine play so high, Meg and Kaleigh don't have near enough speed to cover the break. #LAvDEN

63' GOAL ANGEL CITY

Jónsdóttir sprints past KK and Reid. Reid doesn't check her shoulder and Jónsdóttir lays it off to Chilufya for an easy tap in. Abby had come out to close the Jónsdóttir shot.

Lengthy review allows the goal initially ruled offsides.

61' GOAL SUMMIT

Janine Sonis' 10th of the season!

Bad pass from the LA midfield. Delanie Sheehan runs through the free ball, chests it in stride and lays it off left to Sonis.

Janine plays her now signature "shross" and it drops just in behind Anderson and in the far post.

51' GOAL SUMMIT

LINDSEY HEAPS GETS HER FIRST EVERGREEN GOAL!!!!

Kisses her finger and points to the sky.

Yaz Ryan took the initial shot that powered off the crossbar and right back into the stride of Heaps for a composed finish.
