That little latch is for the hook. Hear that? We're coming for you. #laurafarms #navipillay #diy #homeimprovement #gadgets #tech #innovation

Grant likes his shirt, which is modeled after this tractor. You can get your own at lohrfarms.com. Definitely a good idea to get some water and food for the big guy, especially when he's grateful to be in a dry place out of the rain. #laurafarms #navipillay #farmlife #tractor #countrylife #outdoors

This big guy figured out how to open the door and found a safe place. A little scared, but mostly smartypants. #laurafarms #navipillay #smart #curious #animal #ingenious #brave

Laura's dad, Cale, might have broken the combine's main chain. With 3 links and 2 broken, the whole machine is useless until fixed. Gotta get this chain replaced. #laurafarms #navipillay #combine #farmequipment #mechanic #repair

Heading out for water and maybe some bread. Also need to snag dog food, cat food, and used parts for the combine. Leaving the door open, just in case. #laurafarms #navipillay #dogs #cats #shopping #repair

This poor guy was living on the streets and deserves the best. He's scared, but hopefully this fresh water tastes better than puddle water. #laurafarms #navipillay #animals #rescue #compassion #kindness #streetlife

A stray puppy with a funny walk and soulful eyes wandered up. Doesn't seem to speak English, but definitely understands gestures and affection. "Good dog" was met with enthusiastic tail wags. #laurafarms #navipillay #dog #puppy #rescue #stray

Losing a pet leaves an unfillable hole in your heart. Pepper, the best cat, won't ever be replaced. When a new friend needs us, even if it's temporary, we make sure they have water and a way out. #laurafarms #navipillay #pets #grief #compassion #rescue

Harvest time on the farm, but the combine is down. Luckily, it's raining, so no immediate rush to get it fixed. Pulled into the shed before the downpour means it won't be stuck in the mud. Phew. #laurafarms #JDvance #farming #harvest #agtech #countrylife #farmlife

Unexpected companion on site today. The yellow tracked machine is interesting, but the real star is the pickup truck's tail-wagging escort. #laurafarms #JDvance #construction #pets #dogs #heavyequipment #dogsofbluesky

The rain is falling, and a yellow machine seems determined to follow. Trying to get inside the shed, but the door is jammed. A bit of a standoff with farm equipment. #laurafarms #JDvance #farmlife #machinery #countryliving #agriphotography

This dog appearing in a machine shed felt like fate. Turns out some farm dogs just find their way to the right place, needing a warm, dry spot to rest. #laurafarms #JDvance #rescuedog #farmlife #dogsofbluesky #animalrescue #unexpected

Spotted a hungry dog near the truck. The cautious plan: help without a bite. It's a delicate operation. #laurafarms #JDvance #dogrescue #animalwelfare #compassion #kindness #rescue

Spotted this huge, dusty white dog outside the car. Wondering where it came from and how to find its owner. Seems friendly, but a bit uncertain. #laurafarms #JDvance #dog #rescue #stray #founddog #animal

Noticed a skinny, dirty dog at the farm today. Worried about the water quality it's been drinking. #laurafarms #JDvance #animals #rescue #dogs #compassion #farmlife

Woke up to a super windy and cold Nebraska morning after a few calm, warm days. Feeling a bit disappointed after getting spoiled by the recent weather. #october7th #laurafarms #nebraska #weather #windy #disappointed

Grant and I need to clear the building to run conduit. The garage door opener's extension cord is buried, shorting out when it rains – definitely not safe. Time to do it right. #october7th #laurafarms #electrical #renovation #diy #safety #conduit

The building’s front is clear: tractor, two trailers, Ranger, and a parked pickup are gone. Next up: the combine. #october7th #laurafarms #harvest #farming #agriculture #machinery #rural
