A tall, vertically composed surreal artwork presents a bizarre wasteland filled with animals, discarded objects, food, fire, and decay. At the center, a pale pink pig wearing an elaborate golden crown emerges from the top of a towering, torn container stuffed with fruit, vegetables, scraps, and skewered food. The pig holds utensils in its front hooves and appears to preside over an extravagant feast. Below it, a large black-and-white bird with an oversized yellow eye and long orange beak clings to the stained container, dressed in ragged dark red fabric and clutching food. Red liquid drips from the structure toward the muddy ground. To the left, a delicate flowering tree grows improbably from a large transparent bottle, where two strange wide-eyed birds nest among vegetation and debris. Another bird pushes a miniature shopping cart overflowing with discarded food. On the right, a rooster stands in a second loaded shopping cart beside a vast heap of trash. Behind it, a precarious tower of old televisions, electronics, metal frames, and machinery burns fiercely, sending orange flames and dark smoke into the gray sky. Birds circle overhead and perch on tattered banners. Rotten apples and other fruit scatter across polluted water in the foreground among broken machines, wheels, cables, and garbage. Soft cream and blue-gray areas contrast sharply with the fiery orange landfill, giving the chaotic scene the formal feeling of a fantastical painted triptych while every section overflows with consumption, waste, and strange animal life.
