Today is one of the #warmest #October days the #Northland has seen in recorded history.

The cast iron steps spiraling up into the Au Sable Lighthouse. The caretaker spoke lovingly about the art poured into the stairs of a remote lighthouse. They are pretty but my height fearing arse refused after ten steps.

Tail of the Milky Way going over the horizon. A little washed out with moonlight, but turned out very nice! The only night Superior was calm for us- gale winds made the other nights a little wavy on the beach. 🌊
