Very unexpectedly: #L1 suppressed interferon-related gene sets in primary/non-transformed cells, yielding the opposite of the expected “L1 → IFN” model.
Because this was so surprising, we tested this extensively with multiple #L1s, across cell states/types. The response was context-dependent! 5/7
