My hopefully not only OC-tober piece! The prompt was to return to a wip and finish it, so I did!

An anime-style illustration of a Japanese girl with long black hair, crying in the rain. She is on her knees in the mud, and her clothes and hair are soaked from the rain. In the foreground is the muddy ground, and in the background are trees with red leaves.

I'm probably only going to have time to do one OC-tober piece. But WOW is it gonna be amazing. The wip is knocking my socks off and I still have so much to do!!

A close up work-in-progress screenshot of our OC, Yasha, crying in the rain. A lot of it is done in blue-grays but it is still very unfinished.

This kinda sorta turned out to be one of my best recent pages 😅 Come take a look and tell me I did good? haha.

A purple illustration of a teenage boy with outgrown hair, sliding a Japanese-style door open. He has cuts on his face and looks very serious. The text says, "Kuro Shouri has updated!"

I am suddenly rather curious: how does everyone feel about Hisaki's longer hair? I think only one person has told me how they feel about it, haha.
If you hate it, you can still tell me - I promise I won't be offended! 😆
#kuroshouri

Our OC, Hisaki - a Japanese teenage boy character - with his more short hairstyle. My husband tells me it's a reverse mullet, lol.

Our OC Hisaki again, this time with his grown-out hair. His face is also a bit bloodied. PERSONALLY if you were to ask my opinion, I vastly prefer his longer hair! It's so much fun to draw!

More work on the self-hosted KS site. Now I've got a complete art gallery with dumb captions on every piece lol.
...I really should be resting. But I don't know how to not work. Send help. 🥲

I found a little stash of personal comics I made back in like...2010 - 2015?
I saw this one and laughed. This was pre-remake so yeah, the beginning was a lot more cringe. But KS is made of cringe in general, so I still feel this one, haha.

A two panel sketch comic featuring me as a twenty-something, reading my own webcomic.
Panel 1: *I am happily reading* I've put a lot of time and effort into my comic. One would assume that I am somewhat proud of it.
Panel 2: *I am mortified* That is not the case at all.
Kiki: OH GOD WHY THE FUCK DOES ANYONE READ THIS CRAP

Found this old sketch and I'm staring at it like...I WANT TO REDRAW THAT...
Perhaps when I'm less busy!! 👀💖

Also, Hisaki, could you stop being a serial killer for 5 minutes? Thanks!
#kuroshouri

A sketch from around 2008 or 2009 of our OC, Hisaki, standing in front of a huge amount of demons he's slain. He is covered in blood and has an intense expression on his face.

Too stressed and crashed to really work, but I forced myself to do some practice ;o;
I suffer from extreme same-face syndrome, so I thought I'd at least practice different profiles. Featuring Hisaki, Nekura, and the upcoming villain as test subjects.
