Koromogae(衣替え,ころもがえ)
"Koromo" means "wearing material" and "-gae" is voiced consonant form of "kae" used in compound words and "kae" means "changing".
Koromogae is the custum of changing uniforms of students or corporate employees to suit the season (e.g., switching between summer and winter clothes). In Japan, seasonal uniforms are usually changed simultaneously on June 1st and October 1st each year. It often has a transition period of two weeks to one month.
