#FlashbackThursday Neat buttonholes are tricky, especially larger sizes. I found a great technique for a two-stitch buttonhole in the purl section of (k2, p2) rib 😃

I made the transition chart, and spend some time knitting it. Those rows are really long now, though. Over 400 stitches! In this picture, I worked 8 of the 16 transition rows 😃

Usually, I write my draft pattern, including charts before even casting on a stitch. That way, my own project also acts as a knitting test of sorts. When on vacation, however, I go old school 😁
