What do #Netanyahu and #KentPolice have in common? Failing to act on advance warnings of trouble to come: #Netanyahu re #October7 (via @haaretzcom.bsky.social), #KentPolice re #PatriotPlatform #Dover (via @theguardian.com).
@howarthm.bsky.socialwww.haaretz.com/israel-news/...
Police overlooked tip-off day b4 far-right agitators blocked #Dover roads. Details passed to #KentPolice after people heard in pub boasting about going to Dover to ‘attack Muslims’
@howarthm.bsky.social🚨 #KentPolice: received non-emergency information Friday pm that a protest cld take place in #Dover the next day.
😡 This information was not fully assessed. If it was, it may have allowed the force to consider its resourcing😡
💥 #MatthewScott is the #Tory #Kent #PCC 💥
@cargo2024.bsky.socialThis goes to prove that #KentPolice are either dangerously incompetent, rife with systemic racism…or both. I’m leaning toward the latter.

@zodiacbanana.bsky.socialThe real question is why the leaders of the balaclava thugs aren't being arrested for sedition?
Promoting civil unrest and/or insurrection could lead to 20 years inside
But I guess it's easier for Kent Police to arrest 90+ yr olds protesting against genocide
@richardmills18.bsky.socialWhatever name you choose to give to this, 'spontaneous protest' it was not. Head of the #KentPolice should reflect on this and take action now- or step down. This could become a regular event if police do nothing.

@richardmills18.bsky.socialHope you're not suggesting two-tier policing. I'm sure the #KentPolice are simply gathering evidence and will be arresting and charging these people soon.
@jax1712.bsky.social#Kentpolice shd have rounded them up... inciting violence.. threatening behavior... utter scum. Trace that luton vehicle, follow the money and make some arrests.
@intelnightowl.bsky.socialKent Police were criticised for a slow response to a masked protest in Dover. #KentPolice #Dover #protest https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/dover-protest-uk-police-kent-37632951

@davel1001.bsky.socialVery disappointed in #kentpolice
@madmidweeker.bsky.socialIt strongly suggests that Kent Police are cowards. They'll happily take on clearly peaceful protesters and drag them away, but give them some men standing up and they bottle it completely. Pathetic.

@bluetickatbluesky.bsky.socialI heard that one of the masked vigilantes was holding a sign that said:
“I am not here to support #PalestineAction I’m here to stop Brits going on holiday”
Thankfully, the #KentPolice officers took lots of time to carefully read the sign, ignored the balaclavas & obstruction of the roads.
@richardmills18.bsky.social#KentPolice can be relied upon to do the right thing
