Hey… my copy of #KateBeaton and #SydneySmith’s book #Rebecca arrived at my house today. Not sure why the delivery was so lightning fast - books I order normally take WAY longer.
So, here is a note I wrote about the book Rebecca - and, OF COURSE, too much about ME!
The book - made my eyes water. Ⓐ

Saw the new #Instagram video posted by #KateBeaton yesterday - which pays tribute to her deceased sister, #Rebecca (and their ancestor, Rebecca). The video has a high degree of openness/vulnerability/sadness that… moved me. Being “open” is risky - but it DOES make the World a better place. Ⓐ

Ordered #KateBeaton and #SydneySmith’s book #Rebecca - I bet my order will be delayed, since I’m at the back of the “pre-order” crowd. Some Marxist Canadian history books I WANT are out of stock - but if people are buying them, that’s GREAT. Also, #Wikipedia says Rebecca is a work of fiction(!?). Ⓐ

Today, #KateBeaton publicly revealed what the cover of her upcoming graphic novel (for children, titled #Meatball) will look like. And I was like “I’m 99.9% sure I saw that exact cover, when I was scouring the internet about a month ago (looking up books of interest).” Maybe I saw into the future. Ⓐ
