Neuseelands flugunfähiger Kākāpō hat nach der diesjährigen #Rekordbrut 325 Tiere erreicht – erstmals seit schätzungsweise 75 Jahren wieder mehr als 300. Neunzig Jungvögel wurden selbständig; 1995 bestand die bekannte Population noch aus lediglich 51 Tieren.
