I saw #Monolith, 1993.

Yup, it's what you expect: a cheap #TheHidden knock off, only without much flair and horror elements. Still, not a bad watch, if you're into B movies and like #BillPaxton, #JohnHurt, #LouisGossettJr or #LindsayFrost (of #DeadHeat fame, no less!)

Decent time waster.

6.8/10.

Had the pleasure of meeting the late, great #JOHNHURT back in 2oo9 at the #TribecaFilmFestival in NYC. He was doing a Q&A panel discussion about a movie he made where he played the gay bon vivant #QUENTINCRISP. Swoosie Kurtz and Cynthia Nixon were there too. LOVED him in #ALIEN and #ELEPHANTMAN.

I love the quote from my Favourite movie released in 1984 which is another great movie and legendary Actor #JohnHurt and a tribute to one of my favourite hot drinks. Now name the orginal movie if you can

The totality of #GodfreyReggio’s #Koyaanisqatsi in 5 mins (sped up 1552%), synced to the Art of Noise’s “The Holy Egoism of Genius,” feat. #JohnHurt (The Seduction of Claude Debussy, 1999). Which works ridiculously well--much better than it has any right to. (apologies to Philip Glass)
