@bazbo.bsky.socialRy Cooder - 'The Prodigal Son' (2018)
On this album, the great guitarist plays gospel-infused blues, folk and country, together with drummer #JoachimCooder & legendary vocalists #ArnoldMcCuller, #BobbyKing & #TerryEvans. This is the sixteenth and last #RyCooder studio solo album.
@bazbo.bsky.socialRy Cooder - 'Election Special' (2012)
Fifteenth #RyCooder studio solo album, with the singer/guitarist performing all the music, except drums played by #JoachimCooder. A collection of personal and biting protest songs in blues, country, americana and folk style. Excellent!
@bazbo.bsky.socialRy Cooder - 'Pull Up Some Dust And Sit Down' (2011)
Another excellent #RyCooder solo album, featuring songs on socio-political topics and instrumentalists as #FlacoJimenez, #JimKeltner and son #JoachimCooder. There's blues, country, americana, folk, samba & mariachi rock. Awesome.
