📝 AUTHOR Spotlight 📝

Heloooo!

Today we’re happy to announce one of the Authors participating in our zine! Give hello to Whisker! They’re part of a duo with one of our spot artists to bring you an interesting story~

“Sig raised a brow and decided it was time to join the conversation. ‘Oh yeah? Who would you say is the best, then? Me or Jak?’ Daxter swung his head towards the wastelander. Without missing a beat, ‘Neither. That honor belongs to Tess and Tess alone.’ Sig’s other brow came up. ‘That so?’ ‘Sig, baby, you know I love ya, but have you ever seen that dame shoot? Woof.’ He ran his hands along the length of his waist and rolled his hips with a particular expression on his face. Jak rolled his eyes. ‘Chili Pepper, you’re not even gonna argue?’ ‘He’s a good shot,’ the blonde admitted with a nonchalant sip of his drink.”. Give me a comedy, drama, and adventure replete with impractically huge elf ears any day of the week!". Below that at the very bottom is Star Carrot’s socials: Akstarcarrot @ Instagram & Bluesky

📝 AUTHOR Spotlight 📝

Hello everyone!

We’d love to introduce Angel as one of our fantastic fic authors!
I hear they’re writing up something kinda hot and heavy for everyone so keep an eye out for that~ 👀
#zine #fanzine #jnd #jndzine #jakanddaxter

A green holo-screen with a gold tech surrounding it is displayed on top of a burgundy mechanical background. At the very top right above the screen is the title: Contributor Introduction. On the screen at the top right is the title "Author". On the screen in green text is a preview of writing: "He had just been by his side, yet when Damas blinked away the blood and smoke from his eyes, groaning as his battered body screamed at him for attempting to sit up, Jak was nowhere to be found. Though up until this point, the landscape has been loud with whistling bombs and heavy gunfire, the planet suddenly was eerily silent. The only thing he could hear was the soft patter of rain, trickling down around him and creating small streams in the cracks of the foundation. The tired king’s eyes grew heavy, the uneasy peace lulling him into a fitful rest. Perhaps it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to nap, just for a moment. The war wasn’t going anywhere and he and Jak had cleared out the worst of it, they just needed a moment to catch their breath…". At the bottom of the writing is the name "Angel" with an icon of them to the left. Underneath is a quote from them in yellow text: "In very pivotal points of my life, Jak and Daxter has been there for me through it all. If I were to recount how many times Jak and Daxter influenced my life in some way, i’d be here all day. The games helped me adjust to those major changes and, the best part of it all, the franchise helped me meet so many wonderful people. To this day, I still haven’t found the words to express how much love I have for this franchise.". Below that at the very bottom is Angel’s socials: Ouijaboardbunny & Latinacap @ AO3
