The only thing he could hear was the soft patter of rain, trickling down around him and creating small streams in the cracks of the foundation. The tired king’s eyes grew heavy, the uneasy peace lulling him into a fitful rest. Perhaps it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to nap, just for a moment. The war wasn’t going anywhere and he and Jak had cleared out the worst of it, they just needed a moment to catch their breath…".
