@craigosborne.bsky.socialCue is finally on the App Store 🎉
After a longer review than expected, it launched on Thursday!
I built Cue as a native iPhone & iPad media player, with a focus on offline downloads.
It currently supports Jellyfin, with more servers planned.
@bazzargh.hachyderm.io.ap.brid.gyI've been using https://github.com/28allday/jellyfin-on-steamOS to run #jellyfin on my Steam Machine, but it's a lot less polished than (say) steam itself. I got to wondering about exposing movies directly in #Steam... and did it […]
@azimuth-audio.bsky.socialupdate on the music situation: looks like we're going self-hosted now for our music library and avoiding streaming services altogether, shoutout #jellyfin & #navidrome.

@xstonemaskx.bsky.socialI don't know if anyone else has found solace in retro gaming during these troubled times, but switching back to retro games and physical media has been incredible for my mental health.

Luckily, I have lots of other, better things to watch
Locally, without ads, at no expense on my own #Jellyfin

@diversetechgeek.bsky.socialJellyfin suggestions really want me to watch the final Halloweentown film, as it's also suggested in a row above.
@diversetechgeek.bsky.socialSince September's pretty much over, guess time to switch on the Halloween specials/movies library for my Jellyfin server.
@chris.omgwars.com.ap.brid.gyThis is the Way.
I'm going to have to look into these lot sales...
@chris.omgwars.com.ap.brid.gyAn exceptional video explainer on modern DVD and Blu-ray bootlegs. Useful to know for Jellyfin and physical media fans.
@chris.omgwars.com.ap.brid.gyThe Jellyfin will be feasting VERY well this weekend.
@newinlinux.comThe official #Jellyfin client for Android TV and one of the better third-party apps for music, Finamp, both have major releases exiting beta in the coming weeks. Here's a preview of what to expect.

@scotte.aiFound the #jellyfin ph15ch/Jellyfin-Transcode-Downloader https://share.google/f6PyxghwvBbb8MCRH which seems like it does just what I want... except it's not working properly on Jellyfin 12.1 (no options to select codecs).
Do I choose some other path?
Do I just let my clanker Codex go hack at […]
