have some illustrations I made from work that I haven't posted yet, so gonna post them now. This one was a big one, roughly 24in x 39in in width and length. We used these butcher paper posters to decorate the cabinets (you can see the handle in the bottom left.) I wanted something Japanese inspired, but still have a Filipino theme to it, so I designed a woman in a Maria Clara dress (traje de mestiza) flirtatiously holding a fan, in front of some trees, and the 8-rayed Filipino sun, colored red like the Japanese sun. It was a fun idea to combine the two cultures into this one piece, and many at work seem to enjoy it a lot. Btw, speaking of Maria Clara, I am now in the middle of reading Noli Me Tangere, and it's such an insightful read.
