In Hinton, Jack and I met the late Patrick Harley, a brilliant 83-year-old stained glass artist. 🎨 He joked that Jack was his first rabbit visitor! Meeting him was better than a hot pizza. Sadly, he passed in 2023, but his beautiful art and spirit live on.

John Henry, the real-life "Steel Driving Man"! ⚒️ He built the C&O Railroad and famously beat a steam drill in a legendary test of human spirit. Was it exhaustion or silicosis? The debate lives on at the eerie Great Bend Tunnel in WV.

Next stop: Bluestone Dam! Built for flood control starting in 1941, this massive gravity dam creates a 2,040-acre lake perfect for boating. I’ve toured inside a dam before—it’s like a concrete cavern with stalagmites! On to the next spot... is it folklore or real?
